Here we are on this good, Good Friday to talk about a few favorites that I’m loving while I’m stuck at home in Quarantine with no choice other than to use my stuff. πŸ™‚

My Dyson Vacuum

I didn’t know I could actually love a vacuum cleaner, but here we are. I am not a huge cleaner, and I don’t get excited over cleaning products usually. But this thing is legit. It’s cordless and hides in my closet to charge. I whip that bad boy out when the kids crush goldfish into the carpet and instantly I have the mess whisked away like it wasn’t ever there. It has never gotten clogged with my hair like other cordless vacuums I’ve owned, and it seems like so far it’s held its suction. So it’s going to stay on my favorites list while all I can do is clean up behind these kiddos.

Self Tanner

Ok before you say anything about being tan when I can’t go anywhere…I know! But we are going into a weekend where we otherwise would have been floating in the pool drinking watermelon mojitos, and while I don’t advocate getting a bunch of sun (sunspots anyone?)…it’s nice to at least LOOK like I have a fresh glow.

I’ve been doing my own tan for awhile unless I have a big event like a wedding. I have personally been loving the St. Tropez Express Tan, but I just recently ordered the Isle of Paradise self tanning drops and lotion from QVC. There’s a great deal where you get both for under $50, so I figure I’d give it a go.

I’ve used this mitt and this mitt to apply the tanning solution in the past (and I honestly prefer the second one), but I also just ordered this set of mitts on Amazon. I also want to invest in a tan removing mitt like this one because the last time I had a “professional” airbrush tan, that sucker held on for a looooong time and I couldn’t scrub it off!

Me with a tan. Reminds me I have to apply some today. πŸ™‚

Cross Stitching

When I was younger (like 8 or 9), my mom taught me how to cross stitch. I haven’t picked up a hoop since I was in grade school, but since we are stuck inside and need outlets for creative energy, I picked up a floral mason jar cross stitch from Amazon. It’s no longer available (boooo), but I did find a couple online for you Disney nuts: A Snow White One EEEEKKKK!!! Here’s my progress on the mason jars:

Getting Dressed and Wearing Makeup Daily

This one hasn’t been as hard as I thought it would be. I am really not a person that wears makeup and I really, REALLY love my leggings. But I was slipping into a funk, and something needed to shake me out of it. I took pictures every day and filmed my makeup looks every morning. I learned that I had some cute stuff in my closet that I rarely got to wear!

So let me know what your favorites are. Is there something I should be trying out? Or better yet…is there something you’ve been wanting to try but haven’t yet? I’m a sucker for giving things a go!

Hope all of you have a Happy Easter weekend! May you find the sun, love on your family, and drink mimosas. πŸ™‚
